A protest against the planned biodigester at Rimrock Feeders transpired Wednesday afternoon in downtown Significant River.
A few dozen showed up with printed placards for the respectful protest however Foothills protective services were on hand.
One of the organizers, Benita Estes, suggests they wanted to take a stand.
“Now, as much as the protest, I assisted set it alongside one another, but Julia Allan helped… you will find been a several people today that have aided organize this.

We’re in essence being pushed to the sideline, and this is our stance indicating, ‘we necessarily mean small business!’. It’s the exact same with the coal mines, we never want this here.”

Estes suggests they are worn out of not receiving any solutions from any one, such as neighborhood politicians with Foothills County or from the Town of High River.
