A Merritt, B.C., guy says he was shocked to discover that notes from his physiotherapist in his formal worker’s payment file employed derogatory reviews to describe him and his accidents.
Robert Munro, 37, hurt his again in December even though on the work, providing household furniture. He filed a WorkSafeBC claim and finished up in physiotherapy.
But when examining his WorkSafeBC file, he arrived throughout remarks referring to him as a “redneck hick to death” and an “uneducated large redneck p—y,” and claimed he was “taking part in the technique.”
“The [physiotherapist] was actually nice right up front,” Munro advised Daybreak Kamloops guest host Doug Herbert.
He claimed it built him experience not comfortable about returning to that physiotherapist for treatment.
Munro claimed it to his WorkSafe scenario manager. A grievance was then filed with the Interior Health and fitness Authority.
Interior Wellness has verified Munro’s grievance and explained it is presently beneath investigation.
CBC has contacted the physiotherapist concerned for remark, but has not however received a response.

Munro says his file has considering that been edited to take out the inappropriate remarks, and was informed by his scenario supervisor it was so he didn’t have to relive observing it each time he logged on to WorkSafe for information about his circumstance.
But, he said, he was sure to continue to keep screenshots of the preliminary report, which he has shown to CBC.
He has also been referred to yet another physiotherapist at a distinct clinic.
Munro suggests he would like an apology from the physiotherapist. Beyond that, he claimed, he’s nonetheless far too offended to know how he needs the scenario to be rectified.
“A significant apology would be nice,” he stated.
